Tax receipts are  issued. Only the available portion of your assets can be included in a  bequest. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You must make out a will that specifically mentions the purpose of your  bequest and identifies the Fondation  \u00ab Foyer de Charit\u00e9 \u00bb  as the  beneficiary. This will may be drawn up by a notary, or not. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Fondation Le Foyer de Charit\u00e9 may receive :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>general legacies<\/strong> (bequest of all your assets);<\/li><li><strong>residuary legacies<\/strong> (bequest of a percentage of the assets);<\/li><li><strong>specific legacies<\/strong> (bequests of specific and identifiable property).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to make a donation ?  <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With a donation, the decision involves an immediate gift, during your  lifetime, of all or part of your property (movable and\/or immovable).  The legal document is signed in the presence of a notary. Only the  available portion of your assets can be included in a donation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Fondation Le Foyer de Charit\u00e9 may receive:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>donations with full ownership<\/strong>: permanent, exclusive and absolute;<\/li><li><strong>donations in bare ownership<\/strong>, leaving you (or any other person) the use of the property until the end of your life;<\/li><li><strong>temporary donations of usufruct<\/strong>, granting the \nenjoyment of the property for a temporary period (3 years minimum) to \nthe Foyers. Another instrument that can be used to reduce the French \nwealth tax (<em>ISF<\/em>).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to name the Foyers de Charit\u00e9 as beneficiaries of a life insurance policy ? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to transfer all or part of the balance of your life insurance  policy to the Foyers de Charit\u00e9 on the day of your death, you must name  the Fondation  \u00ab <strong><a href=\"\/en\/non-profit-foundation\/\">Le Foyer de Charit\u00e9<\/a><\/strong> \u00bb  as beneficiary in the  \u00ab beneficiaries \u00bb  clause. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This provision can be made with your insurer at the start or during the  lifetime of the policy.
