Le Foyer de Charité d'Ansirabe se situe au coeur de la ville. Il offre cependant un espace de silence et de recueillement d’une rare qualité pour tous ceux qui viennent se ressourcer, qu’ils partagent ou non la foi chrétienne. Le Foyer propose des retraites spirituelles de 6 jours pour tous, des week-ends ou semaines pour jeunes et enfants. Sous la responsabilité du Père Bernard Brioud, 20 membres de Foyer vivent au Foyer de Charité d'Ansirabe. Ils se consacrent à l’accueil des retraitants. Le Foyer a la particularité d'acccueillir tous les jours un groupe d'enfants qui viennent prier et adorer le Seigneur lors d'une célébration au Foyer. Chaque mois une journée de recollection est consacrée aux séminaristes du Diocèse d'Ansirabe.

A spiritual retreat is a break for the heart and the mind. It creates a breathing space for:

- Meeting with God in silence, reading his Word and rekindling the fire of our faith;
- Reflecting on the meaning of our existence, taking a step back before making important choices;
- Exploring the key questions of life and gaining a better understanding of the foundations of the Christian faith.
